It is only in the present that we truly live." -- Snowcake In this month-long class, you learn the core components of Mindfulness Meditation merged with fundamental emotional intelligence skills in order to strengthen your practice and gain greater self-awareness. Mindfulness is the core skill that centers around your ability to be fully present in the current moment. Mindfulness increases awareness of your body and emotions, and provides greater insight into how your thoughts and mind work. Merged with Emotional intelligence training, you learn additional skills on how to better identify, work with, and consciously create your emotional responses. |
The class is split into five parts to focus on each of the skills to be learned:
Pre-Class. Learn the Background and Introduce Yourself
Week One. Starting with the Breath
Week Two. Working with the Body
Week Three. Emotional Awareness
Week Four. Working with Thoughts
Week Five. Deepening Your Practice
If you have been curious about mindfulness meditation and have been wanting to take a basic introduction course to get you started, sign up and dive right in. The exercises break each component down to help make each of the concepts very accessible and easy to learn.
Loving-kindness and Forgiveness Meditation are also covered during this course.
