In this retreat, you learn the core principles of mindfulness, forgiveness, and loving-kindness meditations. This retreat has both beginner and intermediate experience options. The venue includes 200 acres of hiking trails and meadows to be used during the extended sitting and walking portions of the day.

Connecting to Nature: A Camping Retreat |
In this camping retreat weekend, participants setup their tent and learn together in a nature setting. We journey together out into the 200 acres of trails onsite to explore nature-based meditations, connect to the night sky, do personal examination work, cook together, and enjoy community for the weekend.

Mindfulness, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence skills have become essentials in navigating the world. Combined, these skills have been shown to help with childhood anxiety, temper tantrums, sleep issues, and handling difficult emotions. In this class, you and your child come together to do some fun activities designed to teach mindfulness, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence at their most basic level.

In this class, you get to join with a small group of sewers -- new and old -- to create your very own meditation cushion and learn the basics of mindfulness. If you've wanted to create your own meditation cushion but needed the motivation or just someone to show you how, join us for the afternoon. The fabric and cotton-stuffing are included in the cost of the class.

Sew Your Own Yoga or Meditation Shawl

The yoga or meditation shawl is a wool blanket size draping garment. The shawls are often used for warmth and to create a feeling of protection. Traditionally, they are worn to help symbolically shift your mindset during your practice. For some, they are often compared to being like portable tabernacles and temples. For others, they are mostly about the fashion. Whether the garment will be used for fashion or creating that mental shift when you engage your practice is up to you.

Heartfulness Meditation, sometimes called Heart-Centered Meditation, is a way to connect with the emotions held within your body. It is a form of quiet awareness and presence with what is present without additional processing or even labeling during the time present.

Month of Mindfulness:

Join us in January for a free mindfulness meditation class and joint practice sessions. Over the course of four weeks with a fifth meeting date to wrap up and allow for questions after learning the complete basic practice, you have the opportunity to learn to meditate with an online group and receive the basic instruction for starting your mindfulness meditation practice.
